The Audi RS e-tron GT is a prime example of how inspiring e-mobility can be. Here, the innovation of the four ringed brand meets pure luxury and sportiness, rolling them into a high-performance piece of engineering. Impressive acceleration and sports car-level handling create a unique driving experience in this 4-door coupé, which boasts a powerful battery and perfected aerodynamics enabling a range of almost 500 km.
Interplay of impressive design and sporty elegance
The e-tron GT combines the characteristic Audi look, with the dynamic proportions of a Gran Turismo, presenting itself as, "visually refined". The Audi features futuristic Matrix LED headlights, and a rear that’s rounded off with a striking diffuser. "Get ready for a head-turn!" - because the Audi RS e-tron GT is an eye-catcher, particularly with the "Sand beige pearl effect" an individual paint finish, which attracts admiring glances. For an additional charge, you can choose from a variety of exclusive paint finishes, to give your Audi e-tron GT an even more personal touch. But this car has much more to offer than just a sporty look - more on that later.
A head-start in innovative technology
The entire cockpit is oriented towards the driver´s position and offers a good interplay of sportiness and comfort, equipped with sports seats as standard. These again underline the sporty personality of the e-tron GT. They also ensure a feeling of well-being and even better lateral support when cornering at speed.
In addition, various luxuries and technological advancements offer such features as a panoramic glass roof and a high-quality sound system from Bang & Olufsen. But the aesthetics don’t stop there, as high-quality materials such as wood and leather are also available. On request, the dashboard can be crafted from high-quality walnut décor, giving it an even more dignified quality.
Alternatively, if you’re not a fan of the classic leather seats, you can switch to rather more sustainable materials. On request, the e-tron GT is also available, completely leather-free. In addition, the floor mats are made of recycled material as standard, in this case, fashioned from old fishing nets.
Equipped with the latest technologies and safety features, including the MMI (Multi Media Interface) system, Audi once again proves that it is at the forefront of technology. One of our personal highlights, is the night vision assistant, which uses a thermal imaging camera, when night-falls. This gives the driver further visibility in the dark and thus additional safety.
Typical for a Gran Turismo is the generously sized interior, in the e-tron GT, which can accommodate up to 5 people, benefiting from thoroughly good space conditions and ample comfort. The luggage compartment can hold up to 405 litres, although it is slightly smaller in the top model RS e-tron GT due to the somewhat larger but also more powerful battery
The pinnacle of electric performance
The letters "RS" in the name, stands for one thing above all: maximum electric power! The RS version of the e-tron GT has a catapult-like acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. Two electric motors provide up to 850 Nm of torque. Experiencing such acceleration can “take the breath-away” of its passengers. Equipped with all-wheel drive, the Audi RS e-tron GT offers an impressive 589 hp / 440 kW. In addition, a boost function can even be activated to increase the system output to 646 hp / 475 kW for a short time. Combined with the remarkably precise handling, this makes for a first-class driving experience that would put one or two conventional sports cars to shame. Inclusively, there is the low centre of gravity, which provides even more stability on winding roads.
But for even longer distances, the Audi e-tron GT proves to be comfortable and suitable for everyday use. Equipped with a 93.4 kWh battery, can reach a range of up to 495 km with just one charge.
Also worth mentioning are the short charging times, like its Porsche Taycan brother, the e-tron GT is equipped with 800-volt charging technology, which enables a fast-charging power of up to 270 kW. This means that charging the battery from 10 - 80% only takes about 20 minutes (under optimal conditions) and the pleasure of driving can start again.
As previously mentioned, the Audi e-tron GT is based on the same platform as the Porsche Taycan. A good prerequisite for a first-class and high-quality driving experience. This was indeed confirmed in our test. In terms of price, it is positioned a little lower, because the basic model of the Audi RS e-tron GT is already available from 151`000 CHF. However, considering the technological and quality level of the Audi e-tron GT, this is a very reasonable price.
The version we tested is priced at 185`900 CHF. However, this is mainly due to the extensive special equipment and the special individual paint finish.

The Audi RS e-tron GT is an impressive vehicle that combines sportiness, technology and comfort at a high level. With its characteristic design and extensive equipment, combined with generous interior design, it sets new standards in the field of electric mobility. From powerful acceleration to a range suitable for everyday use, the RS e-tron GT offers an unforgettable driving experience. A vehicle that truly inspires.
